Rachel, a writing scholar in Los Angeles, finds her life disrupted when she receives information about her grandmother’s passing. With the encouragement of a trusted professor, “Evan Wood” she goes house to course of the household’s trauma through her writing. Her return has each therapeutic and painful revelations: a romantic rekindling of a previous love curiosity and, most notably, the problem of serving her brother as he struggles with problems with psychological well-being and habits.
