Darby Harper developed the ability to see ghosts after having a near-death experience as a child. In her spare time, she runs a side business counseling local spirits to combat the existential boredom of high school. When an unexpected event occurs between Darby and Capri, the most popular girl at her high school, Darby reluctantly agrees to assist her and learns how to fit back in with the living world.
