Explorer Bruce Wayne unintentionally unleashes a historic evil, “Batman” and returns to Gotham after being away for 20 years. There, Batman battles Lovecraftian supernatural forces and encounters allies and enemies resembling Inexperienced Arrow, Ra’s al Ghul, Mr. Freeze, Killer Croc, Two-Face, and James Gordon.
